Sending a Message

This section will show you how to send a message on TrackIt App on the In Cab Tablet

Enter Messaging Screen #

The messages window is available at any time throughout the delivery cycle process. It is accessed by clicking the Icon in the top right corner or by using the Menu option on the left.

Canned Message #

Canned Messages are selected on the side of the window. These are prepopulated messages available to 2 click send. Click the canned message and then click send.

nop## Freetyped Message This is a default message type. You are able to type a message with no constraints by clicking the Reply text area.

Responding to a Dispatcher Message #

If Dispatch send you a message you are able to return the message in a few different ways. The Dispatch team can also specify what kind of answer they would like. These are shown below.

Message Type List Selection #

If sent this type of message from Dispatch it will present you with a list of options similar to how a message was sent in Trimble. Question will be in the message and there will options to select to send back with no option to change these.

Message Type Yes/ No #

If sent this type of message from Dispatch it will only give you the options of Yes or No to reply with.

Message Type Numbered #

If sent this type of message from Dispatch it will give you a list of Numbers to select from. Thiscould be used if Dispatch is weanting to know how long something may take or how many m3 you may have left.

Message Type Text #

This message type will only give you the keyboard to type back a message. In addition if you click the below button you are able to use Voice to Text to speak a message instead.
