Barrel Sensor Check

This section will show you how to check your Barrel Sensor and Magnets

Magnet Check #

First Check your magnets. These should be clean and free of Debris and Rust

Magnet Gap #

The Gap between the Magnets on the Barrel and the Sensor is very important. This should be set at a 1cm to 2 cm gap at maximum.

Barrel Sensor #

The Barrel Sensor is mounted on the opposite of the Magnets. This can either be a black type with Flashing Led’s or a white type with Hardwired cables and no Led’s. Check to see which type and if the flashes are occuring with the Magnet Pass

SensorLink #

The SensorLink is the white box mounted in the Cab. When the Barrel Sensor is working correctly these lights should light up up as below.
